Frequent-flyer options for United flights

Flights operated by United can earn miles in the following frequent-flyer programs:

• Air Canada Aeroplan — Only 50% credit for deep-discount economy.
• Lufthansa Miles & More — No credit for deep-discount economy. Only 25-50% credit for other discount economy.
• United Mileage Plus — As of March 1, 2015, United and United-codeshare flights earn 5 miles per USD spent on the fare (up to 11 per USD for elite-status holders), not miles based on distance flown.
